Hey all,

Just wanted to ask for prayers regarding God's will in my job search. I've been out of work for about 3 months or so...and the job market isn't that great. Of course, bills do not stop just because I'm out of work. I've had two jobs come up that seemed 'perfect' location-wise, company-wise, and position-wise. There's no way it couldn't have been God for specifically one of them. Both of them...I was contacted for the position, which I never applied for. The position was not listed anywhere. Everything flowed smoothly...but then it was like the doors just shut. No communication from the hiring managers, even after follow-ups. One follow up with the hiring manager at the place that seemed the best...stated that he had not made a decision yet. There is no indication that either of the positions were filled, either. It's like I always seem to get some unprofessional hiring manager that doesn't even keep up with anything on their end, and they end up blowing everything instead of me as the applicant. I'm a little frustrated...my family is very negative, and of course nobody in my household is Christian. Only one other person claims to be, in my whole family...and that is apparently only when he feels like it. I'm in such a discouraging environment...and this job issue isn't helping, because I need to be somewhere working and away from this discouraging place; not sitting at home browsing thousands of jobs every day. So anyway, if you could pray for God's will to be done and for His favor on me to ge the position He wills, I'd very much appreciate it.
