Emotionally fragile from Mother's Day

Mother's Day is a super hard holiday for me. I am a birth mom of an girl who is almost 8. Had an open adoption that is closed except for a once a year picture. I spent yesterday sobbing for 1 hour. Started when listening to the church service online (was out of town) and they actually included birthmoms in the prayer this year. Complained about it in the past when they didn't. Thankful for my step dad. He spent an hour talking to me and comforting me.
I don 't have anything to do until Thursday so I have a lot of time to think about my pain. Need prayer that i can handly this pain safely.

Just know giving up a child isn't wrong.. but you have to realize that she is still watched over and blessed by God. You pray to God to keep your child safe and loved, you gave her up for that reason..
if it is God's will for you to be reunited before Heaven it will happen. But know in the meantime, God is watching out for your child. He is doing all that you asked the day you gave your child up. He knows your plans, your steps, along with hers..God will never forsake you, He loves you.. your child is blessed but now he needs you to trust Him to bring it all to completion.. 69.245.111.115 | |
