Please pray for a messy, emotional situation. I feel very fast for a Christian man that I finally liked a year ago. He told me he only wanted to be my friend and I have slowly tried to accept that. I have loved him like a brother in a deep way, but have gotten hurt by him since he has been seriously involved with another woman. I just found out another Christian friend of mine tried to seduce him while he was working at her house the other day. I then wrote a terrible email to her and copied him and now he wants NOTHING to do with me and said if he wasn't a Christian he would beat the crap out of me. I have lost all of his respect and friendship now and yet I feel like I was not the perpetrator in all this and yet he said he will no longer speak to me ever again. It's a terrible mess and I can't stop crying. Please pray that he will forgive me for
anything I have said or done to hurt him and that he will see through Holly's seduction and lies. I feel like I am the one losing a girlfriend an the respect of Shawn, who I have cared deeply about.

I'll sure pray for peace and contentment for you in this. But please stop beating yourself up over it. I know self abuse when I hear it (I'm a master at it myself), and I really pray you'll go much easier on yourself. You did what you felt was best at the time, when we know better, we do better, so please trust yourself to know you did the best you could. I really pray God will totally lift this "guilt" you are feeling, and that the entire situation with both Shawn and Holly be resolved to your total peace.

You need to pray and focus on Christ, to me it doesn't sound like you are at fault, and you have to realize you aren't the scapegoat.

You need to accept whatever involvement you had in the entanglement and then forgive...yourself and whoever is involved. We know that is through forgiveness on our part that we receive forgiveness!
