*STORY TIME*

Much like a beach ball being thrown about in a stormy sea, I have been unstable in finding a single direction to head in life.

My current journey has me heading toward a computer science degree. That's cool. I like computers.

One thing required for my degree is some math classes such as calculus and stuff. The highest math I have ever had was pre-algebra (Requirements weren't high when I was in school -- and I was lazy). Anyhow, when I took my first college assessment test a few years ago it said I should be going into high school algebra... which seemed to be right where I left off after school lol. That's cool... except it kinda puts me behind on my major.

So I asked to re-take the assessment test a month ago, feeling I could do better than what I was *supposed* to. I did. I tested into pre-calculus.

So with no algebra experience, I had my first pre-cal class today. While I somewhat understand what the instructor was saying, I hardly knew any of the terms or concepts she was talking about. I was like "RUH ROH!"

So now, after 5 years of fasting from mathematics, I have delved in deeper than I have ever been. I truly believe I can ace this class with hard work and God's blessing. But at the same time I feel a bit anxious and in over my head. I'd appreciate any prayers that people will pray for me. My prayer is that God will help me to have a good attitude and to help me be successful in class.
