I was layed off from work on December 22, due to a vast company layoff where my employer closed 155 of their 600 or so locations, and that sent about 6,000 unemployed workers all throughout the U.S. looking for jobs.

I was contacted recently by a recruiter, shortly before being layed off. She was inquiring when I would be 'free' from that job, and open to accept a job offer. Basically, it's a position in wide format printing with a local power company. The recruiter sent me on a previous interview before and I would have taken the job, but something came up and I ended up having to turn it down. Apparently the people that I interviewed for that, while they wanted me to accept the position...they gave me a very good recommendation that is "pushing" me towards this other position with the power company. The recruiter sent my information over to the guy I am (hopefully) supposed to interview with by Monday the 5th of January. This would finally allow me to get out of Retail Sales and into printing - which I feel strongly to do. I have a bit of a history in printing, as well. So if it's God's will, I really need His favor to get this job. Thanks. :-)
