The time had come to tell Katie goodbye,
after all the doctors visits, we asked God why?
We'd read Blible stories about her new home,
how she would be with Jesus, and never be alone.

She would have listened, with a smile on her face
I believe she would have said,

Subject:   Teddy Bear Tears ( trying it again)
The time had come to tell Katie goodbye,
after all the doctor's visits, we asked God why?
We'd read the Bible stories about her new home,
how she would be with Jesus, and never be alone.

She would have listened with a smile on her face,
I believe she would have said, ' Daddy I will miss this place'
my teddy bears will miss me,and surely they will weep,
who will kiss and hug them, and rock them both to sleep.

Then as the time came and she gave up the fight,
I believe she would have said,I see a man so shiny and so bright.
He answered all my questions,so now I will not weep,
He told me that the Angels will rock my bears to sleep.

So for now I'll hold on to them
and they will be just fine,
I will not let them go,
till Jesus' hands touch mine.

And someday they may join me,
I really hope they do,
surely Heaven has a place,
where my Teddy's can go to.

Then with her arms around them,
holding each one tight,
surely God made a special place,
for two teddy bears that night.

Rest In Peace
