Lean on Him

When the road ahead seems rugged,
and the path is getting steep.
You feel you can't go on,
so your heart begins to weep.
You turn to see who's coming,
to help you on the way.
You see it is the Lord,
as he gently turns to say...
Lean on me,
when you have no strength to stand.
when you feel youre going under,
hold tighter to my hand.
Lean on me,
when youre heart begins to bleed.
When you see I'm all you have,
You'll see I'm all you need.
When it seemed no one cared,
whether I lived or died.
I began to feel rejected,
so I sat alone and cried.
When the burdens got so heavy,
that I could barely face the day.
I felt his arms around me,
and gently heard him say...
Lean on me,
when your way seems dark and grim,
when we learn to trust our Lord,
we'll see we can alway's ' Lean on Him '
So ' Lean on Him '
when you heart begins to bleed.
When you see he's all you have,
you'll see he's all you need.
